Your modern love story can begin without having to leave the comfort of your own home, develop over a series of Skype calls, and end with the abruptness of a text message. What does all of this mean for the future of love? Join us for this free TEDxABQ Salon | Modern Love, on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at the Downtown Public Library auditorium from 2-4pm as we explore these conversations and more through TEDTalks, comedic relief, spoken word, a panel discussion, and—yes—face to face conversation.

Definitely not! However, the subject matter of this event is more appropriate for a mature audience.

How do I get there?

By Bus Bus routes #66, Rapid Ride #766, and Rapid Ride #777 serve the Main Library.
By Car Take I-40 to the 6th Street exit. Drive southtbound on 6th Street until you reach Copper Avenue. The library will be on the left, between 5th Street and 6th Street, on Copper Avenue.
Parking In addition to metered street parking, up to two hours of free parking is available at the Very Special Arts parking garage on the southeast corner of 5th and Copper. Bring your parking stub from this garage to the Circulation desk for validation.

TEDxABQ Education is one of several annual events offered under the TEDxABQ umbrella. It is open to the public, but focuses specifically on education. In addition to TEDxABQWomen in May, TEDxYouth@ABQ in November, we also host TEDxABQ’s Biggest event in September.
